One in a series of programs designed to develop people to their full potential
A. OBJECTIVES AND SUMMARY
  1. To develop skills to be more effective at directing, motivating and managing people in the design and implementation of a project.
  2. To improve the working relationship of those that constitute the project team.
  3. To assure that a project is brought in on time, within budget and with quality work.
  4. To encourage communication and keep everyone in the team involved.
  5. To develop or enhance the Project Managers' self confidence and leadership skills necessary to bring together many factors and to insure they work together well.
  • The Project Management Program is designed to benefit both the individual and the organization through a comprehensive program that:
    • emphasizes the impact of attitudes on personal and project performance,
    • teaches required project management skills and
    • stresses the criticality of goals and schedules in controlling projects and reaching project objectives.

 

B. DURATION AND MATERIALS

This program usually takes 3 days but it can be shortened according to customer’s needs. The participants are provided with a text book

D. PRESENTATION METHOD

The course is taught through lectures and discussion. There are group problems, exercises and role playing to enhance assimilation of material.
