Work is love made visible. And if you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy."

  • The average human being has a vast reservoir of untapped potential that can be accessed by personal motivation.
    • Motivation, it has been proven, must come from within the individual
    • No one can really "motivate" anyone else.
    • One can, however, create a process or an environment where people can be self motivated.
    • The success of any person is directly related to how well they are motivated to commit themselves to their  job.
    • People change from within as they improve attitudes about themselves and their relationships with others.
    • The objectives of human development programs have to be clear and their benefits tangible and real.
  • Management Resources, Inc. has a wide offering of programs to improve your development. A Human Development process is different from traditional training.

A. MRI's Human Development Process

HUMANDEVELOPMODEL.gif (4506 bytes)
The model is designed to benefit both the individual and the organization through a comprehensive development process. The purpose is to develop new attitudes and human skills that will result in a more motivated employee focused on achieving corporate goals.

The model shows how:

  • how our values and beliefs create our human condition which affects our attitude
  • if we take our knowledge, skills and positive attitudes and develop some goals (personal or business)
  • our personal behavior will change and consistent application over time
  • will result in improved results

The three basic components of this process are:

Attitude Development

Replacement of undesirable attitudes such that the participants think and act in terms of their full potential (human behaviorists tell us that most individuals perform at 3% to 25% of their potential).

Human Relations Skills

Effective use of communication, problem solving, decision making, planning, organizing and managing skills which will directly affect their performance.

Goal Setting

Used to motivate participants to use those skills and attitudes, in addition to having them put together a plan for their lives and business, which will take them from where they are now to where they want to go.

B. Objectives of a Human Development program

  • To develop the person's skills to be more effective at directing, motivating and managing people at a higher level of productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • To implement a process which will continually develop the attitude, human relations skills, and leadership skills of everyone
  • To develop or enhance the person's self confidence and leadership skills necessary to successfully work with everyone in a positive results oriented manner and enhance interdepartmental interactions.
  • To develop or enhance the person's self confidence and leadership skills necessary to successfully work with everyone in a positive results oriented manner.
  • To make employees realize the importance of their role in the overall organizational picture and develop a sense of ownership of the company and enhance their sensitivity to the customers problems while focusing on achieving their corporate objectives.
  • To improve each person's commitment to teamwork and productive interpersonal relationships
