One in a series of programs designed to develop people to their full potential
There is no doubt that constant change is a way of life in most organizations today. The majority of the people, however, have difficulty accepting and adapting to change. This program is designed to help people at different levels of the organization adapt to change, learn how to control it and guide human reactions towards it.

A.- OBJECTIVES AND SUMMARY

  • Understand change and the way we react to it
  • Identify where each individual is in the "Change Process"
  • Become aware of the impact of attitudes and their impact on behavior and results
  • Change negative emotions for constructive actions
  • Regain control over work and personal life
  • Communicate changes effectively
  • Involve everyone in the change
  • Establish an environment that promotes and supports change

 

  • There is no doubt that constant change is a way of life in most organizations today. The majority of the people, however, have difficulty accepting and adapting to change.
  • This program is designed to help people at different levels of the organization adapt to change, learn how to control it and guide human reactions towards it.
  • It provides the foundation to get control of one's life, develop positive attitudes, establish goals in one's personal and professional life, and learn practical method to manage the conflict that change generates.
  • The three basic components are:
    • Attitude Development: Replacement of undesirable attitudes such that the participants think and act in terms of their full potential (Human behaviorists tell us that most individuals perform at 3% to 25% of their potential)
    • Human Relations Skills: Effective use of human behavioral skills to improve human relations and the adjustment to change in an organization.
    • Goals: Personal and organizational goals that motivate participants to use the skills and attitudes acquired implementing a plan of action that will take them from where they are now to where they want to go.

 

B.- DURATION AND MATERIALS
  • Approximately two days of workshop; minimum of 15 people per workshop.
  • Each participant will receive:
    • Text book
    • Plan of action

C. PROCESS

  • This workshop is administered in two consecutive days and is later re-enforced through the establishment of goals based on the anticipated workshop results.
  • Besides discussions and exercises, the workshop includes:
    • Role Play simulating actual work situations
    • Motivation, based on the integration of personal and organizational goals
    • Establishment and follow-up of individual and corporate goals based on the measurements pre-established with management
